DINOSAUR COIN. This 2010 50 cent piece was created by the Royal Canadian Mint to celebrate the Dinosaur Exhibit and Fossil Gallery at the Canadian Museum of Nature. The coin features a full colour holographic image of a dinosaur and the museum – we’re guessing it’s a tyrannosaurus rex because it’s BIG and scary with lots of teeth, but dinosaur experts (ie. kids) will probably know better than us. Maybe back before the ice age, the Lakeland Humane Society took in homeless dinosaurs, but not so much these days. The coin includes six trading cards, and was donated by Jeff Bentley.
