LOONEY TUNES SILVER COIN. Kids of all ages – especially big kids who remember watching Bugs Bunny cartoons on Saturday mornings – will love this 2015 $20 fine silver coin donated by numismatist (collectible money expert) Jeff Bentley. It’s a 99.99% pure silver coin, and it’s one of only 12,500 made, which makes it a valuable collectible. The coin features all the most famous Merrie Melodies characters: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester the cat, Tweety Bird, Pepe le Pew and his girlfriend Penelope Pussycat, and the Tasmanian Devil – all in full colour. The coin itself comes in a nifty wooden box with ACME emblazoned on the front (remember everything in those cartoons came from Acme?), and a secret compartment with the certificate of authenticity. Although we don’t have reserved bids, Jeff suggests the bidding start at $125 for this valuable coin.
