HIPSTER MUG RUGS, CAT TOTE BAG & TOYS. Christy Ziehl is a multi media artist in Calgary who creates the COOLEST things! She’s actually hard to pin down but she’s an artist, crafter, designer, relentless vintage addict and collector who paint, sketches, takes photos, crochets, sews, makes jewellery - the list goes on and on! We spotted Christy’s work in her byZIEHL Creative Studio Etsy shop, drawn to the hilariously hipster mug rugs featuring cats and mice in various states of adorableness. So we contacted her about the rugs, but she wound up sending us a gorgeous handmade tote bag, lined with beautiful satin, and decorated with the saying, “I Cat Even!” And if that wasn’t enough, she also sent along a whole bunch of handmade cat toys for the felines in your family.
