TWO CAT ART PRINTS. Can you believe it? These gorgeous art prints were donated by Carrie Hawks, an artist from FLORIDA. Here at the Humane Society everyone is blown away that someone from so far away was willing to support a charity in Cold Lake! Her own cats include Anakin, “Prince of Handsomeness,” who was born without back legs or a pelvis. “That doesn’t stop him,” Carrie says. “He is full of love and life! She uses a wide variety of vivid colours and she paints her kitties in all the colours of the rainbow. “Nearly all of my cats feature what I like to call ‘feathered eyes’ which have become my trademark. I feel that the eyes of a cat show their independent spirit.
